My name is Jana and with SENFHUNDE HAMBURG I have fulfilled a lifelong dream. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but my passion for working with them professionally was ignited by our rescue dog, Nana.
Understanding behaviour means being able to recognise its function for the dog. Dog behaviour is far too often diagnosed rather than analysed.

About me
When Nana came to us from Spain, we faced seemingly insurmountable challenges. She was afraid of everything and everyone, and even my husband was bitten by her. Our daily life was severely limited, and we didn’t know how to move forward.
The Turning Point: Support from an Expert
However, with the help of a fantastic trainer and behaviour consultant, we underwent an incredible transformation together: the fearful dog became a relaxed companion who now accompanies us through life with ease. This experience fundamentally changed my understanding of dogs and their needs.
My Philosophy: Scientifically-Based Training, Fair and Needs-Oriented
I realised how much can be achieved through sound knowledge and scientifically-based training. Since then, there has been nothing more important to me than supporting other dog owners on this journey.
At SENFHUNDE HAMBURG, I work according to the latest scientific findings – always without force, fairly, and above all, in a needs-oriented manner.

My aim is for you and your dog to become a team that can handle any situation together. Whether it’s behaviour questions or everyday training, I am here to support you with empathy and expertise. If you need assistance with everyday training or behaviour consulting, you are in the right place.
